Busan citizens have long aspired to host the World Expo.

This dream finally began to materialize for the coexistence and prosperity of humanity.

The World Expo 2030 will put particular emphasis on displaying new future technologies, such as artificial intelligence, 6G, and smart airports and ports, to show Korea’s status as a leading ‘smart country” to the world.

APPIA is developing the concept and design guildelines in accordance with the necessities of a short term event like the expo and the future urban development of Busan.
