Printing industry has played the role of magnet in this area in Seoul city center, but it is now declining. Seoul Metropolitan Government held a competition to establish a smart anchor facility to revitalize the industry. The project attempts to provide a new system that can meet the changing demands of printing, and to integrate programs for various users in one building. Programs which are vertically stacked according to the work process are expressed in the façade and they are efficiently connected by deliberate circulations. The building will remain as the keystone of this area.
