Inspire Entertainment Resort & Paramount Theme Park, 2019
Inspire Entertainment Resort, Korea's largest resort complex, is under development by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), one of the largest U.S. Native American developers and operators of integrated entertainment resorts.
In 2016, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism(MCST) in Korea awarded the MGE's proposal to build the very first Casino Integrated Resort in the International Business Complex-III on 4.37㎢ of land provided by the Incheon International Airport Corp.(IIAC).
This project will be conducted in four phases with all stages to be completed by 2031.
APPIA has been providing the Project Management service to establish a successful development plan for overall phases from the beginning of the project including MGE's proposal to MCST.

Phase 1
Phase 1 with a budget of KRW 1.5 trillion is under construction and scheduled to open in 2023. Through the Design competition in 2016, APPIA organized the HDA consortium which was solely awarded to design over 1,100 5-star guest rooms in three towers, over 63,000 m² of dining, retail, and entertainment options, a 15,000 seat state-of-the-art concert and sports arena, a foreigner-only casino offering 150 table games and 700 slots/electronic games, a 4,500 m² hemispherical domed climate-controlled indoor pool space and water park, and 19,000㎡ of conference and convention.

Phase 2 with a budget of KRW 1.3 trillion will feature over 7,000㎡ Paramount Pictures Theme Park, the very first world-class theme park in Korea. In addition to the Phase 1, HDA won this International design competition in 2019 throughout 5 stages of the competition process. During the process, APPIA developed a successful proposal with the best team by cooperating with international theme park design firms for comprehensive and professional service. After completion of the schematic design by Paramount, HDA consortium will successfully deliver the design for construction with the anticipated opening in 2025.
With our experience and proven records, APPIA has been built a strong relationship with MGE which will lead to successful collaborations in future development phases of IBC-III.
